Even
though people tend to often like spending time on the patio under
cloth patio awnings, the truth of the matter is that these awnings
tend to get dirty and if not cleaned soon they could stain.
You may wonder what it is that gets these items dirty. Since they
are up above most people, there are very few who actually touch it.
So, the filthiness does not come from people, but instead from other
sources.
Some of the things that can get cloth patio awnings the dirtiest
are:
• Barbecue grills – Even though nothing on the grill
will probably touch the awning, the fact of the matter is that as
you grill, the smoke from the grill rises and soaks itself into the
awning.
• Leaves – Although leaves are great at providing shade,
they leave a little to be desired when it comes to cleanliness. Not
only do the leaves fall on the cloth patio awnings, but also any kind
of debris that was on the leaves falls down as well.
• Rain – While the rain itself can be cleansing, when
the rain mixes with any dirt or debris on the top of the awning, there
are a few extra unexpected problems with things like mud.
You can certainly clean the cloth patio awnings and you should if
you want to be able to keep and use them for a long time.
